- When will the university begin assigning minus grades?
Minus grades will be an available grade option effective with courses taught Summer A 2009 term.
- Will minus grades be assigned retroactively to terms prior to Summer A 2009?
No, minus grades will not become an accepted grade option for courses taught prior to May 11, 2009. Any grades and their respective grade points earned prior to May 11, 2009, will not be affected by the addition of minus grades.
- What letter grade must a student earn to receive an S if they choose S/U option?
The requirements for the S/U grade option have not changed. A grade of C or better is required to earn an S. Conversely,
a grade of C- or below will earn a grade of U.

Using the conversion tables above, multiply the grade value times the number of credit hours for each course.

Center (DRC) may be allowed to vary the number of credit hours required, following certification by the DRC.
