You DO NOT need to wait for the VA to approve your application in order to request education benefits. If you think you are eligible, please contact UF Veterans Affairs ASAP.

If you are not currently receiving VA education benefits, you may be eligible for the following benefits under the new Post 9/11 GI Bill.

• a termly book stipend
• a monthly housing allowance
• a termly tuition and fees payment of up to 100%
• a termly tution deferment

Eligible students may qualify for benefits retroactive to Fall 2009.
